It’s been delayed several times, but the Nasa Peregrine 1 mission is due to launch (this time) before the end of 2022.
That will make the novels The Juggernaut, Parador, and The Dead Fleet possibly the first first science fiction trilogy on the moon.
<– I have no idea when the mission is finally going to take place, so I’ve given up using this timer to countdown to the launch and instead it’s set for the end of 2022.
Hopefully the lunar dust will have settled by then, and the sun’s radiation, no longer thwarted by the earth’s magnetic field, will have utterly destroyed all unprotected digital data on the SD cards shipped aboard the lander.
